This was a simple card to throw together and darn cute! It is from the new cartridge Paper Lace.  When I looked through the handbook, this was a must have cart.  Hope you like it!

More Vinyl...

I also had to try the t-shirt vinyl finally!  I had created this design on my gypsy a while back and finally cut it out for this sweatshirt.  Turned out pretty cute.
First, I cut the design out of the t-shirt vinyl and weeded out everything I didn't want.  Note: you cut with shiny side down, dull side up AND everything has to be cut BACKWARDS.
Place the sheet, vinyl side down against the shirt.
Iron over the top for about 15 seconds.  I used a teflon sheet (paid $6.99 at MFTM - TOTALLY WORTH IT) which helps the iron to glide smoothly across the design.
Finished product.  Looks amazing in person.  Pic just doesn't do it justice.
So to share some latest things:

The glass on the left is a glass I bought a while back.  It has a square of chalkboard paint on it.  I bought 12 glasses because thinking it would be fun when people come over, they can write their name on their glass with chalk.

Since then, they have broken and I now have only 2 chalkboard glasses left.  So, I broke out the chalkboard vinyl and created a sticker sheet of various shapes and am now going to keep a sticker sheet and chalk out on the table next to the glasses when people come over.  Fun stuff!

Below is a card I made using Create a Critter cardridge for the owl and branch.  Then I cut a blurb out of chalkboard vinyl so that you could make it any kind of card you wanted.  Write "Happy Birthday", "Thinking of you" or "Hi, friend".... whatever card you need.  Love it.

Oh Happy Day

This was from Storybook cartridge. I love this cart. Bytheway, have you tried the Smooch Spray!?! So awesome! We used the green smooch spray on this page and sprayed all the background yellow paper with it. Loved it. We also did the following layout... same awesome cartridge (storybook).
Feeling inspired yet? If you live local (Lodi, CA) and aren't sure what cricut is... sign up for the Nov "Cricut... what?" class. It is FREE! And we will talk about all the differences in various cricut machines. We will talk about the extra accessories that are out there. We will make new friends and have lots of fun. This class is also open to all of you current cricut owners that want to check out the extra stuff... gypsy, cricut pens, stamp sets, and way, way, WAY more!

Vinyl Rocks!

This week I was doing lots of projects around my house and one that was particularly fun was making these laundry baskets. They are cheap $3 baskets from Walmart that I threw some vinyl on. I used various cricut fonts to cut vinyl out and label each basket for easy sorting for the kids.

I also wanted to show you this cute layout from Hannah Montana cartridge. SO CUTE! I am not into Hannah Montana at all, but the fonts on this cartridge are so stinkin cute. Lots of rock and roll shapes. I used the Core'dinations line of cardstock. I LOVE that stuff. I used the cuttlebug to emboss and sand down the music note background.

This layout was from "Just Because Cards" cricut cartridge. I embellished with some rhinestone dots. You can never go wrong with ladybugs!

Cindy Loo ... who?

On Saturday, we had Cindy Loo class. I love that cartridge... in fact I love it so much, that I Cindy Loo'd my bedroom wall. I projected one of the doily shapes huge onto the wall. Traced and painted. Viola! Ignore the unmade bed!

All Boy Layouts

This layout was made from the Dino Tracks cartridge. Chelsea threw this layout together super fast and it turned out so cute. We used it for the preview class "all boy". We also previewed the Superman and Batman cart.

Make a Wish

These pictures are from the Sweet Treats cartridge class we did. I LOVE doing the "fit to page" feature and making shapes BIG! I cut the page title and the frosting layers out of adhesive sheets and then sprinkles red and blue glitter on. My mom says "if you don't get glitter everywhere, then you didn't do it right." LOL

Name Frame

I did a vinyl project on my daughter's door, using my gypsy to weld all the letters and frame together. Actually, it was quite a simple project. The longest part was choosing which font I liked. Happy cricuting!

Cake Inspirations

Ok, so I just have to share with you some pictures on the internet I found of some really awesome cakes made from the Cricut Cake machine. I am in no way claiming I made these or even could make these. LOL. But it did provide with some fresh inspiration. Enjoy!
